My fiancé became my wife, finally can de-stress after all the planning and coordinating. Next, we are getting re-married, we are having a small ceremony where I'm the bride (or we are both brides). I'm excited about that since I have dreamed about being a bride for a very long time and now I have a chance since my wife is very supportive, understanding (she is still struggling and learning) so we decided this is just as important as the official ceremony. Plus, we are getting married in a church but with a few friends and no family. Neither one of our families would understand or be supportive, not to mention, never talk to us again.
Also, our honeymoon will be a double honeymoon of sorts. We will be celebrating in New Orleans, partly as my male side and partly as my female side. We can't wait because neither of us has been to New Orleans but also the food, the history and the architecture...the birth place of jazz and blues is a bonus. And the city is LGBTQ+++ friendly so lots to do as my female persona, I won't or hopefully wont feel out of place or stand out.
Flying will be interesting since I will be flying as Sarah at least once maybe both times, however it will be interesting nonetheless. So this leads me into packing for two personalities...one half is easy, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tennis shoes- the other half not so easy; a dress or two, skirts, blouses, heels, flats, pantyhose, makeup and the list goes on, life as a woman. It will be fun, no matter what.
