Sorry, it's been a few weeks since my last post.  But, I have been busy with work and private research.  I have, however made a discovery that no one is talking about.  Oh, there are various articles about homosexual being in the bible and the Greek word arsenkoitai , and the argument rages on of who is right and who is wrong. Let's take a moment to look at some facts that have been published, first arsenkoitai does not mean homosexual because when Paul first used the phrase it was in ancient Greek and barrowed two words that would translate at best "boy molester."  As I continued to research and dig another kept popping up in it's place, whoremonger. Uht Oh!  Now, monger means purveyor or a person who buys, sells or trades goods and that would lead to prostitution which the now infamous word arsenkoitai  would come in, basically what Paul was eluding to is forced prostitution (slavery), or masters abusing their young male slaves, you get the idea....
As I do research and reading about what the Christian Bible has to say about being trans, the thought occurred to me about other religions and how trans people are viewed.  The information may or may not surprise you.  The list is no particular order. Islam - There are many sects of Islam that I did not realize existed, but I will highlight some of the more prominent ones.  In Iran, the Ayatollah Ruhollani Khomeini Shiite Theocracy Founder, issued a religious degree or Fatwa decades ago opening the way for transgender transition surgery or SRS (sex reassignment surgery).  1987, Ayatollah Khomeini, declared transgender surgical operations allowable.  One possible reason is that attitude in the belief that a person is born transgender but chooses homosexual, making homosexuality a sin.  Then that implies that if one transitions then they are not homosexual and therefore cannot commit a sin.  Islam does not have a central governing body so setting clear p...
So, Where was I...Let's look at the Book of Genesis Ch, 37 talks about Joseph being given a coat or cloak depending on which version of the Bible is referenced but what is at the center of the argument,  is whether the translation of the phrase "ketonet passim."  Many scholars agree that if refers to a cloak reserved for princesses (more specifically virgin daughters of kings).  Now, keep in mind that a few scholars describe "ketonet passim" as being a tunic/robe with long sleeves, or ornate robe.  The argument is which translation or understanding is correct and the reason for the argument is because (coat of many colors) Joseph is seen as feminine especially when he is the court of the pharaoh, and because Egyptian men and women of the time wore make up.  Given one case or the other but when taken in all the facts, there is sufficient evidence that lends support to Cross-dressing.   The only other time we see the term 'ketonet passim' is Princess Tam...
